Villa Yustina

If it wasn’t for Milko Tsvetkov, owner and manager of Tomika Metal, one of the largest manufacturers for food and winemaking equipment, following his passion for wine, Villa Yustina wouldn’t have been established in 2006. The symbiotic relationship between his hobby and occupation made the creation of the winery more feasible. In 2012, the winery produced their very fi rst vintage with grapes from their own vineyards. The lands in Gorkata area, near the town of Perushtitsa, where the winery’s vineyards are located, consist of suitable soils for cultivating white grape varieties like Sauvignon Blanc and Gris, Colombard, Chardonnay, Traminer, Aligote and Semillon. These are also the winery’s primary white grape varieties. In the western area of the vineyards, the following grape varieties are planted on clay soils: Pinot Noir, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Vasil Stoyanov is the winery’s winemaker. He was awarded #1 Enologist for 2011 by the Union of Bulgarian Enologists.
