The founder of the philosophical concept of Thracian Legends wine collection is Mrs. Katerina Dimitrova. Key to the concept is her irresistible aspiration, overcoming all obstacles and inspired by her relatives and friends, to the making of organic wines at a high European level. These wines are aimed to promote the humane ideas of organic farming in the best way possible.
Thracian Legends cultivate 13 ha of organic vineyards in the region of Aytos town. The plantations are located in a well ventilated place at a slight southern slope, a terrain very suitable for organic vineyards. She treats them with the latest class of biopesticides from plant extracts. They have no quarantine period and are completely harmless to humans and the environment.
It is Katerina Dimitrova’s philosophy of life to strive for modern growing of organic vineyards and making of bio-wines. To raise the ideas of organic farming from a pure scientific to a higher spiritual level among a wider range of people, she is the first one to connect them, in a quite original manner, to the philosophical doctrine of the familiar and beloved by the ancients Thracian – Orpheus.
