As a winery, Rossidi stands out among other projects for their diff erence of attitude and artistry, which they bring to their winemaking. The expressive and bold labels are Edward Kourian’s work – a graphic designer, musician and one of the winery’s proprietors. The establishment owns 40 ha of vineyards near the village of Nikolaevo, in the Sliven municipality. The first vintage was produced in 2008. Rossidi creates dry red and white wines, each selection consisting of about 15 000 bottles. Innovative equipment is used during the wine making process, including French oak barrels with the storing capacity from 225 to 400 liters. The winemaker Petar Georgiev is a graduate of UFT in Plovdiv, with a degree in Technology of Wine. He gained work experience at Santa Sarah, Arndorfer Winery in Austria and at Alan Scott Winery in New Zealand. Currently, Rossidi uses rented facilities to produce their wine. They are preparing a project to construct their own facilities, with areas for wine tasting and tours.
