The family project Eolis Estate has started in 2005. Their own vineyard is 2.2 ha around Malko Gradishte, Lyubimets municipality, in the outskirts of the Easter Rhodopi Mountain. Eolis wines are limited numbers of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon & Franc, Syrah, Gewurztraminer, Viognier and Sauvignon Blanc. The annual production is 10 000 bottles. The vision of the people behind Eolis is to recreate the unique terroir in elegant, complex wines with fruit character. Since 2012 the vinifi cation has taken place in Bratanovy winery under the consultancy of the swiss winemaker Mark Wunderli, who has created the style of Eolis wines from the very beginning. The wines matured in 400 liter french barrels in order to achieve elegant harmony between an expressive fruit bouquet, fi ne oaky notes and velvet tannins.
